News Flash: PUPPIES!!!! We have had a very busy summer! We had plans of breeding Ruby and Enya to Rolex for sure. This is Ruby's second litter and Enya's first. We then got Pugsy, knowing full well she may never have a litter as she is five and has had no success as of yet! Much to our surprise, all three girls got pregnant and all within weeks of eachother. It was a very nerve racking time as pups started to be born. I am a complete wreck their first couple of weeks before they seem to stabilize and before mom gets all her milk, and pups really start to grow and become strong... Just when we were getting comfortable with one litter, another was born! I am up every TWO HOURS with the pups the first two weeks of their lives, so I was up for a month straight it seemed! Things have settled a bit, and I am now able to take some time for pictures and updates. All three litters are very, very nice. We are excited for those that have waited so long for these babies; we think everyone will be equally pleased with their new babies. I believe all are spoken for, but sometimes we have families that have a change of circumstances or what not...so if you are looking for a puppy, please e-mail me.

The first born were Ruby's four beautifl babies. Just like the last litter between these two, these pups are just stunning. They were born on July 23, 2008. This was our "Large" litter, as they were some of the biggest pups I have ever seen!!!

First is Bruin's Livin' Large a.k.a. "Cash" He is a strong puppy with great bone and structure. He has a beautiful head and the body and movement we expect out fo this combo.

Next is Bruin's Big Red Woman a.k.a. "Big Red" Red is so typical of the Beefsteak lines on Ruby's mom's side. She is a BIG, athletic, girl...with a sweet, sweet face; and one of my favorite personalities. She is smart, calm, and very loving...we love this girl.

Here is Bruin's Plus Size Model a.k.a. "Lane" Laney is a DOLL! Cute, cute, cute!!! She has a great compact little body, and a baby doll face with ashort wide muzzle. She is as sweet as she looks.

The final puppy in this litter is Bruin's Large Marge a.k.a. "Marge" Marge is a force to be reckoned with. She is so smart, almost too smart....so she is ALWAYS into trouble. I just love her look and I LOVE her "spit fire" personality!

Our next litter is out of Enya and Rolex. There were nine total, and they were born July 30, 2008. This litter was planned since we got Rolex and Enya almost two years ago. The pups are all that we hoped they would be and more. This litter is named after famous Gorilla's or monkeys.

First of the boys is the biggest, this is Bruin's The Bushman. Bushamn was an enormous silverback that was kept at the Chicago zoo a long time ago. He was a famous gorilla, that drew thousands of peopleto the zoo, and he was later stuffed and placed in a museum after he passed away. Our "Bushman" is also a BEAST! Ha Ha Ha! He is as wide as he is tall, and he has enough bone for ten puppies. He resembles Rolex in personality...VERY calm and lazy!

This is Bruin's King Kong. "Kong" is the image of his Dad at this age. He is loving, sweet, and very beautiful. I love his face!

Next is Bruin's Mighty Joe Young a.k.a. "Joe" Joe is a solid puppy with great type and color. He is a mellow boy that is more inclined to cuddle than he is to join in play fighting with the other boys...he is a bit of a Momma's boy! Joe is similar personality to his name sake from the movoe, "Mighty Joe Young" .

Meet Bruin's Curious George a.k.a "George" George got his name because he reminds me very much of the curious liitle monkey my two year old watches on t.v. He was the smallest, though he is not so small now; but he was always the first to do anything. He was the first to open his eyes to the new world and he was up on his feet, practically running, at two weeks of age... George is a brave puppy that will flourish with a young family!

Last of the boys is Bruin's Gentle Jambo a.k.a. "Jambo" Jambo is named after a famous silver back Gorilla that rescued a boy when the boy fell into Jambo's zoo exhibit. Jambo shocked keepers and frightened on-lookers when he picked up the injured boy and carried him to the keepers entrance. I thought it was a perfect name for the quiet boy, who has the most beautiful, sensitive face. He is an "Old soul" like his Dad.

Our first girl is Bruin's Show Me a Sign. a.k.a. "KoKo". KoKo is a famous gorilla that knows sign language and has taught researchers many great things about the intelligence of the gorillas. Our KoKo is just as kind and intelligent, and she has the most stunning head and expression.

Then we have Bruin's Grrrilla in the Mist a.k.a "Fossey" Fossey is named after the great Diane Fossey. She was the famous women largely responsible for saving the african jungle gorilla's from extinction. There was a movie made after her story called, "Gorilla's in the Mist" It was a beautiful film. Fossey truly looks like a little gorilla! She has the most beautful face- so inquisitive and kind; with the most stunning eyes and expression.

Here is Bruin's Chunky Monkey a.k.a. "Monkey" You can probably see why we named Monkey the way we did! She is a massive little puppy, with all the substance and depth of her Mom and Dad. We are very excited to see "Monkey" mature, she is quite a special baby.

Next is Bruin's Monkey See Monkey Do a.k.a. "Digit" Digit is another lovely girl. She is has a great overall balance and beauty. She is a gorgoeus package with clean lines and lots of type. "Digit" was Jane Goodalls favorite monkey that she studied, and she wrote about him often in her books. I always remembered reading about Digit, because Goodall spoke with such passion for him...the name fit our little girl to the "T".
