Rolex has set the record for the United States Bordeauxs. He was the NUMBER ONE DOGUE DE BORDEAUX in both AKC systems for 2008 with minimal outings. Rolex has proven himself time and time again across the country against all the "top" dogues in America. Rolex was The Purina National Dog Show breed winner, the Eukanuba Invitational breed winner, and was also awarded an Award of Merit at the first ever Westminster appearence for the breed. He was the second ever AKC champion and and the FIRST GROUP PLACING and MULTIPLE GROUP PLACING bordeaux in America. Rolex is so much more than we could have asked for, and we are so thankful to Becky and Nik at Emberez Kennels for allowing us to purchase this amazing boy. For those that have met Rolex; you know that he is not just a magnificant looking dog; but also one of the kindest, softest hearted, and loyal dogs you will ever meet. Rolex is a Joy to live with, his easy going nature and "lazy" ways make it easy for us to trust him with other dogues and puppies that linger the house. He loves "his" girls; and he and Enya are soulmates that are inseperable. Rolex is also a very special friend to our two year old daughter, Sutton...they think the world of each other.
Some more pictures below of Rolex when he was a bit younger; he was about 15 months in most of them.
Rolex accomplished so much as a young dogue in Europe beofre he made the trip over here, some of his wins included: *5-11-06 Best Youth Male at Bleiswik Holland; picking up his final point for his Dutch Youth Championship. *Best Youth Male at Rotterdam International *Tan Test - “passed” at the French Club Match 2006 2-10-06 At 11 months, Rolex won Reserve Best Male (to a truly outstanding older, more mature dog)at Maastricht International Show in Holland; winning RCAC and RCACIB We are so excited to be offering some of the best bloodlines in the world here in the U.S. through Rolex. His father is the famous dog “Apollo”, and Rolex resembles him very much. Not only does Rolex exhibit fantastic breed type in his looks but he also moves like a real working dog should. We believe, and so do his breeders; that Rolex is going to help re-instill the correct, classic, Dogue de Bordeaux breed type that takes after some of the greats in this breed. Rolex has a fabulous pedigree, that just screams quality. He is doubled up on the great BRONSON lines through his Grandmother, Anya, a truly once in a lifetime gal; and his Grandsire “Tex”; both were littermates to Bronson!! GREAT NEWS!!!!! Rolex scored in the top 90th percentile of his Penn Hip results!!! He has also been OFA'd certified for his heart. And his elbows have been scored well also. This is another indication that you CAN have TYPE, SIZE, AND HEALTH!!!
Rolex brings a rare opportunity to the breeders in the U.S.A. and world wide that care about this breed and for those that want to preserve the “classic” look and the over-all health of the Dogue De Bordeaux.
Below are puppy pictures of Rolex and a picture of two of his puppies. The stacked picture he is a solid 7 month old, and in the younger picture he is a massive 8 week old. He was promising from the start, as was his whole litter. His puppies also show great potential thus far!
